Reports to:	Men of the Oceana church of Christ
FLSA Status:	1099 – Annual salary paid monthly

 

Oceana church of Christ is a small, scriptural and very friendly and warm church in need of Christian expertise to get to the next level of size and development.  We want to grow the church.  We are looking for the right candidate or candidates to accomplish this goal.

Oceana is looking for a minister that can perform Christian duties on behalf of the church of Christ, in a full or part time role. Options are available with strong resume and immaculate references.

Duties Include:

• Minister to the congregation, members and guests and their families.
• Help plan and execute evangelistic activities to grow the church.
• Preaching at least 44, and not more than 50 Sunday services.
• Teaching classes of all age groups to assist the congregation in learning about God, His Son, His Spirit, and His word. Frequency & numbers of occurrences that need to be taught TBD, during hiring process.
• Help the men of the church, as one of them, to help guide the congregation.

Compensation:

Depending on qualifications, term of contract, hours/week and commitment level: the negotiated rate will range from $1,500.oo to $5,000.oo per month.

Necessary for employment:

Apparent love and zeal for God.  Strong knowledge of the scriptures.  Traits and history that include; being personable, church leadership experience, successful background checks, immaculate references, and passionate sincere willingness to increase the spirituality of the Oceana church of Christ.
